I am so glad you have visited me on our classroom website. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have lived in Camarillo for twenty-seven years with my husband David and my son Blake. I also have an adorable dog named Shelby. She is a Shiba Inu which many people say looks like a fox.
My teaching career started many years ago in Whittier, California where I taught first and second grade. After I got married, my husband and I moved to Camarillo. I began to teach at Las Colinas for about eleven years. During my time at Las Colinas, I taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. I then moved to Tierra Linda and now I am entering my thirteenth year here.
I love spending time with my family at home relaxing, being with friends, or just traveling and trying out new restaurants (we love to eat.) When it's time for myself, I run with my friends and do half marathons. I also enjoy cooking and try new recipes out on my friends and family. I love teaching third grade at Tierra Linda, it is a wonderful school!. I hope you enjoyed learning a little about me. I can't wait to learn about all of you!
